The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will offer Common Proficiency Test (CPT) in two session as below.
2. Last date to fill online/Offline Application Form : 28th April, 2016
3. First Session (Morning) on Sunday, 19th June, 2016 at 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
✓ Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
✓ Section - B Mercantile Laws
4. Second Session (Afternoon) on Sunday, 19th June, 2016 at 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)
✓ Section - C General Economics
✓ Section - D Quantitative Aptitude
Applicants are required to pursue 10+2 or 10+2+3 from Commerce discipline only.
Candidates need to be above 17 years if applying after 10+2 and 20 years if applying after graduation.
STEP1: Log on to the official website which is www.icaiexam.icai.org or www.icai.org/cptform
STEP2: When the candidates visited the page of official site, then they need to click on the link of “Application Form” and register into the site with basic details.
STEP3: Once the registration process is completed, then applicants will receive login credentials as SMS or Email.
STEP4: Next candidates have to use the login details which are required to fill the application form without any mistakes.
STEP5: Now the candidates have to upload recent passport size color photograph and scanned signature of the candidate with the mentioned dimensions also the mentioned documents in the notification.
STEP6: Then applicants have to pay the fees.
STEP7: Lastly candidates have to verify and submit the form.
STEP8: Then send the printout of filled application form, required documents to “Additional Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110002″ through registered post.
Offline Mode
✓ Application forms will be obtained at the specified centers for those who wish to apply in offline mode.
✓ Next candidates have to fill the application form either in black or blue ball point pen only without any mistakes.
✓ Once the form is filled candidates have to pay required application fee.
✓ Candidates need to send application form, DD along with necessary documents to “Additional Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110002″.
CA CPT 2016 Application Fee
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110002 on payment of Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 1000/- towards cost of application form and Information brochure) per application form.
Common Proficiency Test is an objective type multiple choice questions based examination. Candidates will be allowed to opt for Hindi medium Question Paper Booklet for answering the questions. Detailed information will be found given in the Information brochure.
